Customer Service Tire Technician

Discount Tire is hiring a Customer Service Tire Technician to join our Scottsdale retail team. In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you'll combine customer service with tire and wheel installation, rotation, balancing, and repair. You'll inspect vehicles, explain recommended services, and help customers choose safe, cost-effective tire options. Working closely with a supportive, people-first team, you'll learn industry-leading safety practices and technical skills through structured training and mentorship, with clear paths to advance into leadership and long-term retail careers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, knowledgeable service regarding tire and wheel options
• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety issues; document findings
• Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires according to company and safety standards
• Operate tire changers, balancers, jacks, and related shop equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service bay and customer areas
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting and use of personal protective equipment
• Assist with inventory tasks such as receiving, stocking, and organizing tires and wheels
• Collaborate with team members and follow direction from store leadership
• Educate customers on tire maintenance, safety, and recommended services
• Support overall store operations in a fast-paced retail environment
