Industrial Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

As an Electromechanical Technician at Shamrock Foods Company, you will support Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management in a high volume food & beverage operation. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize packaging and processing equipment, including motors, conveyors, control panels, sensors, and pneumatics to keep production running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment installations, and root cause analysis while following food safety, OSHA, and lockout/tagout standards. You'll collaborate closely with operations in a people-focused, family-owned company that values integrity, teamwork, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical, packaging, and processing equipment to minimize downtime in a fast paced food & beverage facility.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors, motors, controls, and utilities per maintenance plans and OEM specifications.
• Diagnose electrical issues (PLC I/O, sensors, VFDs, motors) using meters, schematics, and safe work practices.
• Repair and align mechanical systems including gearboxes, chains, belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Document work in the CMMS, maintain accurate parts usage, and support root cause analysis for recurring failures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and asset management to improve equipment reliability and line performance.
• Follow strict food safety, cleanliness, and safety standards, including lockout/tagout and OSHA requirements.
• Support capital projects, equipment installations, and commissioning under the Engineering & Asset Management team.
