Robotics Computer Vision Software Engineer

Amazon is seeking a Robotics Vision Software Engineer to build and optimize vision systems that power next-generation robotic solutions in our retail and fulfillment network. You will design, implement, and deploy computer vision and perception algorithms for object detection, tracking, and 3D understanding, integrating them with robotic platforms and cloud services at global scale. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer and operational needs into robust, production-ready vision software, leveraging data-driven experimentation to improve accuracy, latency, and reliability in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement computer vision and perception algorithms for robotic systems used in retail and fulfillment operations.
• Integrate vision software with robotics platforms, sensors, and AWS-based services for large-scale deployment.
• Optimize models and pipelines for real-time performance, accuracy, and robustness in production environments.
• Collaborate with robotics, hardware, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop testing, simulation, and validation frameworks to ensure reliability and safety of vision systems.
• Analyze data and experiments to continuously improve models, algorithms, and system performance.
