Senior Music Retail Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a PT Senior Sales Associate to drive retail sales and support music education in our store. In this role, you'll advise students, parents, and educators on band and orchestra instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories while delivering knowledgeable, friendly service. You'll open and close the store, lead by example on sales goals, maintain merchandising standards, process rentals and repairs, and support lesson program enrollment. You'll collaborate with a student-focused, performance-driven team to grow revenue, build community relationships, and ensure every customer has an exceptional music retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable, friendly in-store service to students, parents, and educators
• Recommend instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories to meet customer needs
• Lead by example in achieving individual and store sales goals
• Process sales, rentals, repairs, and lesson enrollments accurately
• Open and close the store, following cash-handling and security procedures
• Maintain merchandising standards, signage, and product displays
• Support lesson program promotion and student enrollment
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a student-focused experience
• Resolve basic customer issues and escalations professionally
• Support community and school outreach activities as needed
