Residential and Light Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Atlas Trillo Heating & Air Conditioning seeks an HVAC Service Technician to provide residential and light commercial service throughout the Bay Area. In this field-based role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, air conditioning, indoor air quality, and related systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. You'll perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate clearly with customers about solutions and energy-efficient options. Working in a customer-first, safety-focused, family-oriented culture, you'll collaborate with a supportive team, receive exposure to modern HVAC technologies, and build a long-term career in stable, year-round service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
• Install and replace heating, cooling, and indoor air quality equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues safely
• Communicate clearly with customers about findings, options, and recommendations
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and company procedures
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service records
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage daily service schedule
• Provide 24/7 or after-hours support on a rotating on-call basis
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and inventory in clean, safe condition
