Food Manufacturing Sanitation Technician

Cargill is seeking a Sanitation Technician I to support safe, high-quality food production in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and work areas following strict food safety, GMP, and OSHA standards. You will handle cleaning chemicals safely, mix solutions per guidelines, and operate basic sanitation tools and equipment. The technician inspects areas for cleanliness, documents sanitation activities, and reports maintenance or safety issues. You'll collaborate with production teams, follow standardized work instructions, and support continuous improvement in hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and work areas
• Follow food safety, GMP, and OSHA sanitation standards
• Handle and mix cleaning chemicals safely per guidelines
• Operate sanitation tools and basic cleaning equipment
• Inspect production areas for cleanliness and hazards
