Federal Project Manager

O'Brien Industries Inc. seeks a Federal Project Manager to lead complex fabrication and engineered equipment projects for industrial and utility customers with federal or DoD requirements. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring strict compliance with federal regulations, quality standards, and safety. Working in our employee-centered, craftsmanship-focused culture, you'll coordinate with engineering, production, and QA teams, interface with government and utility clients, and drive continuous improvement on long-term, mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of federal and utility fabrication projects
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple projects
• Ensure compliance with federal, Do
• D, and utility contract requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, production, QA, and field teams
• Interface with federal/utility customers and manage stakeholder expectations
• Prepare project plans, status reports, and contract documentation
• Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement on all projects
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to meet technical and delivery requirements
• Support estimating, proposals, and bid responses for new federal work
• Track KPIs and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
