Controls Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing

Marvin is seeking a Controls Maintenance Technician to keep our advanced manufacturing equipment running safely and reliably. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and other control systems supporting window and door production. You'll perform preventive maintenance, support new equipment installs, and partner with engineering and operations to improve uptime and product quality. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and PLC-based control systems on production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on controls, sensors, drives, and HMIs to minimize downtime
• Assist with installation, calibration, and commissioning of new machinery and automation systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to improve equipment reliability and safety
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and control program changes accurately
• Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and safety initiatives across the plant
