Territory Sales Representative - Healthcare Distribution

Patterson is seeking a Territory Salesperson to drive growth across our dental and animal health customers within an assigned territory. In this field-based role, you will prospect, develop, and manage relationships with healthcare practices, selling a portfolio of products, equipment, software, and services that improve patient care and practice performance. You will collaborate closely with internal specialists to deliver integrated solutions, from installation to training and ongoing support. This role fits a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on building partnerships, exceeding targets, and representing a trusted leader in healthcare distribution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a defined territory of dental and animal health customers for Patterson
• Prospect, qualify, and close new business to meet or exceed sales targets
• Build long-term relationships with clinicians, practice owners, and procurement teams
• Conduct on-site meetings and product demonstrations across equipment, software, and supplies
• Partner with internal teams to coordinate installations, training, and service follow-up
• Analyze territory performance, pipeline, and market trends to identify growth opportunities
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing within guidelines, and manage contract renewals
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunity data in CRM and deliver regular sales reports
• Represent Patterson's values and solutions at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
• Continuously expand knowledge of Patterson's portfolio, healthcare trends, and competitor offerings
