Director of Facilities Maintenance and EHS

Daniel Defense LLC seeks a Director of Facilities Maintenance, EHS, and Safety to lead all plant facilities and safety operations across our Georgia manufacturing sites. This role oversees building systems, industrial equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance while driving robust EHS programs that meet or exceed OSHA and regulatory standards. The director will manage maintenance and EHS teams, develop budgets and capital plans, implement risk reduction initiatives, support audits, and foster a strong safety culture aligned with our mission-focused, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities, maintenance, EHS, and safety operations across manufacturing sites
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for building and production assets
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead safety programs, risk assessments, and incident investigations; drive corrective actions
• Manage and develop maintenance and EHS teams, including staffing, training, and performance
• Plan and oversee facilities and maintenance budgets, capital projects, and vendor contracts
• Coordinate environmental compliance, waste management, and hazard control programs
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and uptime
• Promote a strong safety culture aligned with company mission and production goals
