Job Description
Engauge Workforce Solutions is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This position safely moves materials, supplies production equipment, and prepares products for storage and shipment.
Work schedule: 7am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely.
- Load and unload trucks; verify shipment counts and check for damage or shortages.
- Move and stage materials according to production schedules and instructions.
- Deliver materials to production areas and remove finished products.
- Use scanners and computer systems to track inventory and material movement.
- Prepare pallets for shipment using appropriate wrapping, straps, and protective materials.
- Complete equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Keep work areas clean and follow company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience preferred; experience with stand-up forklifts or electric pallet jacks is a plus.
- Ability to read work instructions and accurately identify products and materials.
- Basic math, computer, and scanner skills.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform the position's physical duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work the assigned schedule and overtime as needed.
- Successful completion of required forklift training and operator evaluation.
