Validation Engineer I

Develop and execute electrical and functional test plans for processor interfaces, validate new processor silicon features with a focus on power management, and debug issues to root cause. Contribute to platform design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and functional test plans for processor interfaces.
• Execute test plans using hardware and software validation tools.
• Validate processor features using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Debug processor and platform I/O issues through root cause and resolution.
• Provide input on platform definition and review platform designs.
• Guide and train less experienced engineers and technicians.
