Restaurant Assistant Manager

Zaxby's is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead our fast-paced, guest-focused restaurant. In this role, you'll support the General Manager with daily operations, including supervising team members, running shifts, and maintaining Zaxby's standards for food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness. You'll assist with training, scheduling, and inventory, resolve guest concerns with Southern hospitality, and ensure compliance with food safety and company policies. This position offers opportunities for growth into higher management roles within our expanding brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager with daily restaurant operations and shift execution
• Lead, coach, and support team members to deliver excellent guest service
• Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met
• Handle cash management, POS transactions, and basic reporting
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Help create and manage schedules to meet labor and service goals
• Monitor inventory, place or support orders, and reduce waste
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and Southern hospitality
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and policy compliance
