Front End Lead Trainee

As a Front End Lead Trainee at Market District, you will learn to lead front-end operations within our Retail Operations team. You will support cashiers, model exceptional hospitality, and ensure accurate, efficient transactions. Working closely with experienced leaders, you'll assist with scheduling, training, and daily front-end readiness while helping resolve customer concerns and manage lines. This role is ideal for those passionate about food, guest service, and growing into a leadership position in a dynamic, community-focused supermarket environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end operations to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Coach, train, and support cashiers and service team members to meet performance and service standards.
• Oversee cash handling, POS accuracy, and front-end procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor lines, resolve customer issues, and maintain a welcoming, hospitality-focused atmosphere.
• Assist with scheduling, basic reporting, and daily front-end readiness for opening and closing.
