Mailroom Document Processing Clerk

Conduent State & Local Solutions, Inc. seeks a Mailroom Processor to support mission-critical programs for government and commercial clients. In this on-site role, you will sort and route incoming mail, prepare and scan high volumes of documents, and maintain accurate records to feed downstream transaction processing systems. You will operate mailroom and imaging equipment, follow strict security and confidentiality standards, and meet daily productivity and quality targets in a performance-driven, team-oriented environment. This position offers training, exposure to large-scale public-sector operations, and opportunities to grow within Conduent's technology-enabled services business.

Responsibilities

• Sort, open, and route incoming mail and packages according to established procedures and service-level targets
• Prepare, batch, and scan documents for high-volume transaction and data processing systems
• Verify document accuracy and completeness, flagging exceptions and discrepancies for review
• Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners, inserters, and imaging systems
• Maintain detailed logs and tracking records for mail, packages, and processed transactions
• Follow security, privacy, and confidentiality policies for handling sensitive government and client information
• Meet daily productivity and quality metrics in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve processing issues and improve workflows
• Support audits and quality checks by providing accurate documentation and records
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and operational standards set by Conduent and client contracts
