Plant Quality Assurance & Food Safety Manager - Food Manufacturing

Conagra Brands is seeking a Plant Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will own plant quality systems, including HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring our products meet stringent customer and company standards. You will manage and develop the QA team, analyze quality data, drive root cause investigations, and champion continuous improvement projects. Partnering closely with Operations, R&D, and Corporate Quality, you will help innovate, support new product launches, and safeguard the integrity of our iconic brands.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant food safety and quality programs to meet regulatory, customer, and Conagra standards.
• Manage, coach, and develop the plant QA/food safety team.
• Oversee HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and prerequisite programs.
• Analyze quality data, trends, and consumer complaints to drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Own internal and external audit readiness and lead audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and R&D on process controls and new product launches.
• Maintain and improve plant quality management systems and documentation.
• Lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and waste.
• Ensure proper testing, sampling, and verification of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Partner with corporate quality and regulatory teams to align plant practices with company standards.
