Physician Referral Business Development Representative - Healthcare

The Business Development Representative at the Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders will drive growth by building and managing relationships with physicians, clinics, and other referral sources. You will identify new opportunities, manage leads, and promote our diagnostic and treatment services to increase patient volume. Working closely with physicians, technologists, and administrative staff, you'll support education on sleep disorders, track performance metrics, and refine outreach strategies. This role blends consultative sales with a patient-first, science-based approach in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and nurture new referral sources among physicians, clinics, and health systems
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing referral partners to grow patient volume
• Conduct outreach, presentations, and educational meetings on sleep disorders and practice services
• Manage and track leads and opportunities through CRM, reporting on pipeline and conversion metrics
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to align business development efforts with patient-care priorities
• Analyze local market trends and competitive activity to refine growth strategies
• Support marketing initiatives, including events, campaigns, and educational programs
• Provide clear, empathetic communication to prospective patients and caregivers while respecting clinical boundaries
