Manufacturing Engineer

FieldBridge Energy seeks a Houston, TX - based Manufacturing Engineer to work for a global leader in subsea technology and engineered solutions.

Pay / Schedule: $42.30-$45.00/hr. Monday-Friday, 7am - 3pm (flexible). 100% Onsite. At 40 hrs per week for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,692-$1,800. Weekly pay + benefits.

Contract or contract-to-hire opportunity. This role supports a manufacturing plant team of 2 serving 61 production employees and requires daily onsite attendance. Not a remote position.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Serve as the manufacturing SME for structural welding, fabrication, and production systems
• Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and partner with design engineering (DFM)
• Review and approve ECO/ECR changes, and lead root cause analysis on production issues
• Create and update routers, work instructions, and labor hour estimates, including time studies
• Design tooling, jigs, fixtures, and material handling solutions, and support LEAN, facility layout, and material flow improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Welding Engineering, or equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with welding and machining
• 2+ years with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks)
• 2+ years with LEAN principles (Standard Work, 6S, Visual Management)
• Experience with facility layout, material flow design, and process optimization
• Able to read complex engineering drawings, including weld symbols and GD&T
• Able to read and understand WPS and PQR
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
