Financial Analyst - Media and Entertainment

Title: Financial Analyst Location: New york, NY 10036 Duration: 04 months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance) Pay : $50-52.00/ hr Principal Responsibilities Financial oversight of headcount and compensation for domestic operations with over 1,000+ staff employees, including review of commissions monthly payouts Leverage various financial systems to forecast and report compensation expenses and headcount related to monthly/quarterly closes, periodic forecasting, annual budgeting process, and long range planning Provide leadership team with information and insights to better plan and manage labor workforce Partner with HR to align headcount reporting and related expenses to organizational changes Maintain strong working relationship with various stakeholders: HR which includes Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Systems, and Generalists Finance track leads by Groups and Departments Operating groups Represent the finance team on initiatives that impact headcount and compensation planning, reporting, and analytics Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting 2-3+ years of financial planning & analysis, reporting and accounting related experience, preferably in the media industry.
