Activities Assistant - Senior Living

As an Activities Assistant in Recreation Operations at Brightview Senior Living, you'll help create a vibrant, resident-first lifestyle for older adults. Working closely with the Recreation team, you will support and lead daily programs, including games, arts, music, fitness, and community outings that promote social connection, engagement, and well-being. You'll build warm relationships with residents, encourage participation, and adapt activities to a variety of interests and abilities. Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of daily recreation and wellness programs for residents.
• Lead and assist with group activities such as games, arts, music, outings, and fitness.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to individual abilities and preferences.
• Help transport and escort residents safely to and from programs and events.
• Set up, break down, and maintain activity spaces, supplies, and equipment.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with residents and families.
• Observe and report resident engagement, mood, and any concerns to supervisors and care teams.
• Collaborate with recreation, nursing, and dining teams to support a vibrant community life.
• Assist with special events, holidays, and community-wide celebrations.
• Follow safety, infection control, and company policies to ensure a secure environment.
