Senior Government Contract Accounting Manager

Facility Services Management Inc. seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead financial operations supporting government and military facility contracts. This role oversees general ledger, closing, budgeting, and financial reporting while ensuring GAAP, FAR, and CAS compliance. The Senior Accounting Manager will supervise a small accounting team, support audits and DCAA reviews, manage project cost tracking, and partner with operations leaders. Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, consolidations, and general ledger oversight for multiple government facility contracts
• Supervise accounting staff, review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and variance reports to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS, and government contract requirements, including indirect rate structures
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for multi-site operations
• Support audits, DCAA reviews, and internal controls, implementing process improvements as needed
• Collaborate with operations and contract management teams to track project costs and profitability
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control documentation
