Local Hazardous Materials Tanker Truck Driver - Environmental Services

Clean Harbors seeks a Local Class A Tanker Driver to support environmental and industrial service operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class A tanker trucks to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to and from customer sites and company facilities. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring DOT and safety compliance, managing manifests and logs, and following proper loading, unloading, and spill-prevention procedures. You'll work closely with dispatch and field teams, uphold our safety-first culture, and represent Clean Harbors with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tanker trucks to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials locally
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations at all times
• Load and unload liquids using proper hoses, pumps, and fittings to prevent spills
• Complete and maintain accurate logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and field teams to coordinate routes and schedules
• Use appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures at customer sites and facilities
• Respond appropriately to spills or incidents following company protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle and equipment
• Provide professional customer service while representing Clean Harbors in the field
