Gas Turbine Quality Test Technician

Install and prepare gas turbines, compressors, controls, and related components for testing. Connect test equipment, conduct production and first-article tests, record results, and perform vibration surveys and trim balancing. This full-time temp-to-hire role offers first- and second-shift schedules in San Diego.

Responsibilities

• Install, level, set up, and prepare turbines, compressors, packaged systems, controls, and components in test cells and fixtures.
• Connect test equipment needed for test operations.
• Conduct production and first-article tests on packaged systems, controls, subassemblies, and components.
• Observe and record test data.
• Conduct vibration surveys and trim-balance components.
• Troubleshoot control circuits and identify faulty components.
