Reefer CDL-A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated freight
• Monitor and adjust reefer unit to maintain required temperatures
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Comply with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery documentation
• Plan routes, manage schedules, and meet delivery windows
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Handle basic truck and reefer unit troubleshooting
• Adhere to cargo securement and food safety standards
• Represent carriers professionally on the road and at customer sites
