Data Center Physical Security Specialist

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Security Specialist to safeguard high-availability AWS data centers in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment. You will manage physical access control, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, conduct patrols and audits, and respond to security incidents. Partner with operations and IT teams to enforce security policies, support investigations, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Protect AWS data centers through physical security operations, monitoring, and incident response
• Perform access control, badge management, and visitor verification for high-security environments
• Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, and intrusion detection tools
• Conduct security patrols, inspections, and audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance
• Support incident investigations, documentation, and escalation in partnership with Security and IT teams
• Collaborate with operations teams to implement and improve security procedures and controls
• Assist with emergency response, business continuity, and crisis management activities
• Maintain detailed security records, reports, and shift logs in line with AWS standards
