Cabinet Manufacturing Machine Operator

Fabuwood Cabinetry Corp is seeking a Cabinet Manufacturing Machine Operator to support our high-volume, design-driven cabinet production in Newark, NJ. In this on-site role, you will operate and monitor woodworking and cabinet manufacturing machinery to cut, drill, edge, and finish components to precise specifications. You'll inspect materials, maintain quality standards, perform basic maintenance, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with a diverse, team-oriented workforce, you'll help meet production goals while contributing to continuous improvement and craftsmanship-focused operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual woodworking and cabinet production machinery safely and efficiently
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machines for cutting, drilling, edging, and finishing cabinet components
• Inspect materials and finished parts to ensure quality and adherence to Fabuwood standards
• Follow production schedules, work orders, and specifications to meet daily targets
• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Handle materials, load/unload components, and stage products for next production steps
• Accurately record production data and report issues to supervisors or maintenance
• Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
