Role Description The Director of Finance is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Chicago Area, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization. This role includes managing budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Director of Finance will analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities involve monitoring cash flow, overseeing accounting activities, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies. The individual in this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead finance staff, and contribute to long-term financial planning and organizational growth.

Qualifications
- Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, with experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements.
- Experience in Financial Reporting, including regulatory and management reporting.
- Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance or accounting teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare or service-industry financial environments is beneficial.
- Strong proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP software, advanced Excel).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
