Management and Sales Intern - Manufacturing Coatings

Sherwin-Williams is seeking motivated students for our Management and Sales Summer 2027 Internship. In this 10-12 week program, you'll gain hands-on experience in store operations, customer service, and B2B/B2C sales within our manufacturing-driven coatings business. Working alongside store and sales leaders, you'll support inventory control, merchandising, and project-based customer solutions while learning to analyze sales performance and operational metrics. You'll be immersed in our safety-focused, performance-driven culture, receive structured training, and build a foundation for future roles in sales or management across our global network.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store and sales operations in a manufacturing-focused retail environment
• Assist managers with inventory control, ordering, and merchandising of coatings and related products
• Engage customers, assess needs, and recommend Sherwin-Williams solutions to drive sales
• Participate in outside sales activities, including customer visits and project follow-ups
• Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with store teams to meet safety, service, and performance goals
• Complete structured training modules on sales, product knowledge, and operations
• Support execution of promotional programs and local marketing initiatives
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and compliant store environment
• Present internship learnings and results to management at program completion
