Job Description
The Clinical Laboratory QA QC Supervisor will oversee day-shift operations for the core laboratory within a reference laboratory environment, reporting to the Clinical Operations Director. This role will guide staff, maintain quality and regulatory standards, validate results, manage equipment and inventory, and lead improvements focused on quality metrics.
The laboratory supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:
- Monthly Levey-Jennings Charts: Print, review, and sign the Levey-Jennings QC charts for each instrument on a monthly basis.
- Unity QC: Review, monitor, and sign the monthly QC reports and Levey-Jennings charts in the Bio-Rad Unity system.
- Maintenance Logs: Review and sign the monthly maintenance logs for each instrument.
- Linearity Testing: Ensure linearity testing is performed every six months for applicable instruments.
- Proficiency Testing (PT): Enter PT results and ensure timely submission.
- New Test Validations: Participate in the validation process for new tests and instruments
- Result Verification: Review and verify laboratory test results as authorized.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in clinical laboratory operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Experience with laboratory quality management.
- Knowledge of clinical chemistry and hematology.
