Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to support interventional cardiology procedures in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will prepare patients, operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, and ensure radiation safety and sterile technique. You will collaborate closely with nurses and cardiologists, accurately document procedures, and support on-call coverage. Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording equipment during procedures
• Scrub, circulate, and assist cardiologists while maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor patient status and report hemodynamic or rhythm changes promptly to the care team
• Apply radiation safety practices for patients and staff
• Document procedures, supplies, and patient data accurately in the EMRCollaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to coordinate safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and ensure room readiness
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergent procedures, including STEMI cases
