Associate Director, IT Strategic Sourcing

CSL is seeking an Associate Director, Technology Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing of IT, digital, and technology services supporting our global biotechnology operations. In this role, you will develop category strategies, run complex RFPs, negotiate contracts, and optimize total cost of ownership across software, hardware, cloud, and professional services. You will partner with IT, finance, legal, and business leaders to ensure supplier performance, manage risk, and support compliance. The ideal candidate combines deep procurement expertise, technology market knowledge, strong analytics, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for IT, digital, and technology categories globally
• Develop and execute category strategies for software, hardware, cloud, and services
• Run complex RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations
• Optimize total cost of ownership while ensuring quality and service levels
• Partner with IT, finance, legal, and business stakeholders to align sourcing plans
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk in a regulated environment
• Support compliance with procurement, legal, and industry regulations
• Provide market insights, benchmarking, and spend analytics to inform decisions
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the technology supply base
• Mentor team members and contribute to global procurement best practices
