Building Systems Facilities Manager - Commercial Real Estate

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) is seeking a Site Technical Manager to lead technical operations for a high-profile commercial real estate asset. In this role, you will oversee building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance. You will manage vendors, develop preventive maintenance programs, and drive energy and sustainability initiatives. Partnering closely with clients and JLL teams, you will manage budgets, support projects, respond to critical issues, and champion a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day technical operations and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Manage vendor and contractor performance, ensuring quality, safety, and cost control.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability and uptime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and JLL standards.
• Monitor building performance, analyze data, and implement improvements in efficiency and sustainability.
• Manage site maintenance budgets, forecasts, and reporting for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead and support on-site technical staff, promoting a culture of safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and support capital projects, repairs, and upgrades with internal teams and external partners.
• Respond to critical incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
• Partner with clients to understand operational needs and align technical services with business objectives.
