Calibration Maintenance Technician - Biotech Manufacturing

Abbott Laboratories seeks a Calibration Maintenance Technician for the night shift (6:30 PM) to support reliable operation of biotech and pharmaceutical production equipment. You will perform routine and complex calibrations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting on instruments, automation systems, and utilities in a GMP/FDA-regulated environment. Responsibilities include interpreting technical documentation, maintaining accurate calibration records, supporting audits, and partnering with operations and quality teams. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex calibration of production, lab, and utility equipment per GMP standards
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on instruments and automated systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate calibration, maintenance, and deviation documentation for audits
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs to perform work safely and effectively
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality to minimize downtime and support production schedules
• Support internal and external audits and inspections in an FDA-regulated environment
• Adhere to safety, LOTO, and environmental procedures during all maintenance activities
