Job Description
This is a hands-on engineering position focused on resolving complex endpoint and infrastructure issues, improving the overall stability of the environment, and identifying root causes rather than providing temporary fixes.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$The Endpoint / Infrastructure Engineer will provide advanced technical support and engineering across the organization's endpoint environment. This is not a traditional Service Desk position. The ideal candidate will have the technical depth to troubleshoot issues across the full technology pathway, including the endpoint, operating system, applications, identity, connectivity, device management, and supporting backend infrastructure.
The environment is currently experiencing a high volume of technical issues, so this person will be expected to look beyond individual tickets, recognize patterns, perform root-cause analysis, and implement solutions that prevent recurring problems.
Perform in-depth root-cause analysis rather than relying solely on break/fix solutions.
Troubleshoot across the full technical pathway, including endpoints, applications, authentication, networking/connectivity, device management, and backend systems.
Support and engineer enterprise Windows and macOS environments.
Manage endpoint configuration, enrollment, compliance, patching, provisioning, and application deployments.
Administer and troubleshoot endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, NinjaOne, SCCM/MECM, or similar technologies.
Investigate failed deployments, non-compliant devices, recurring workstation issues, and performance problems.
Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange/Office 365, and related infrastructure.
Package, test, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise applications and configuration changes.
Partner with Service Desk and other infrastructure/engineering resources on escalated technical issues.
Strong background in Endpoint Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Desktop Engineering, or advanced L3 technical support.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues end-to-end, including backend components.
Advanced experience supporting Windows enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune or comparable endpoint management technology.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and enterprise identity/authentication.
Experience with application deployment, patching, device compliance, and endpoint security.
Strong root-cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across Service Desk, Endpoint, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
5-7+ years of experience within a large enterprise/corporate IT environment.
~ Experience with Intune, Jamf, NinjaOne, SCCM/MECM, or similar platforms.
~ Experience packaging and deploying enterprise applications.
~ Experience troubleshooting both endpoint and supporting backend infrastructure.
~ Microsoft Graph or API-based administration experience.
~ Experience with ServiceNow, Zendesk, or comparable ITSM platforms.
~ Relevant Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, or infrastructure certifications.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant technical experience.
Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off).
