Medical Technologist

WellSpan Health is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLT/POC to perform accurate diagnostic testing that supports high-quality patient care. In this role, you will analyze specimens, operate and maintain laboratory and point-of-care equipment, and validate results in accordance with regulatory standards. You'll collaborate closely with providers and nurses, support quality improvement initiatives, and help train team members. Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret routine and complex laboratory tests following established protocols
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and point-of-care (POC) devices
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens accurately and safely
• Validate and document test results in the LIS, ensuring regulatory and quality standards
• Collaborate with nurses and providers to support timely clinical decision-making
• Participate in quality control, proficiency testing, and continuous process improvement
• Train and mentor new staff and students on lab and POC procedures
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance policies at all times
