Preschool Center Cook

The Learning Experience Corp seeks a Preschool Chef to prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. In our caring, education-focused environment, you'll plan menus aligned with nutritional guidelines, prepare and portion meals, and accommodate allergies and special diets while maintaining strict safety, sanitation, and licensing standards. You'll collaborate with teachers and center leadership to support classroom schedules and special events, manage inventory and ordering, and uphold our child-first, family-like culture every day.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children 6 weeks to 6 years
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and state/local licensing regulations
• Accommodate food allergies, sensitivities, and special dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food storage areas
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and kitchen supplies
• Portion and deliver meals/snacks to classrooms on schedule
• Collaborate with center leadership and teachers on menus and special events
• Maintain accurate records for menus, temperatures, and compliance logs
• Support a child-first, safe, and nurturing culture in the center
• Communicate effectively with staff regarding allergy lists and menu changes
