Meat and Seafood Counter Clerk

Lowes Foods is hiring a friendly Beef Shoppe/Seafood Clerk to serve guests in our Hampstead, NC store. In this part-time role, you'll provide fresh meat and seafood service, prepare and package products, set and restock cases, and maintain excellent food safety and sanitation. You'll answer guest questions, suggest meal ideas, and ensure attractive displays that highlight local products. Working in a fun, team-focused environment, you'll support daily department operations, follow proper labeling and rotation, and help create memorable, Southern-hospitality experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive meat and seafood counter service to guests
• Prepare, cut, wrap, and package meat and seafood items per standards
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise cases for freshness and visual appeal
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Label products accurately with pricing, dates, and ingredients
• Answer guest questions and offer product and meal preparation suggestions
• Follow proper storage, handling, and temperature control procedures
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and organization of product
• Support daily opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures
• Work collaboratively with store hosts to deliver excellent service
