Entry-Level Construction Project Coordinator - Fence & Perimeter Security

American Fence Company, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager in Training to support fencing and perimeter security projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. In this entry-level role, you'll assist with planning, layout, material takeoffs, scheduling, and on-site coordination under experienced leaders. You'll learn blueprint reading, safety practices, and quality standards while working closely with fabrication and installation crews. This is a hands-on opportunity to build construction management skills and grow into greater project responsibility in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with planning and coordinating fence construction projects from start to finish
• Support site layout, measurements, and material takeoffs for residential, commercial, and industrial jobs
• Monitor job progress, quality, and safety compliance under supervision of senior staff
• Coordinate with fabrication teams, installers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Help interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to support accurate installation
• Perform on-site inspections, documentation, and basic reporting on project status and issues
• Learn and apply company standards for craftsmanship, customer service, and safety practices
• Collaborate with field crews to resolve basic installation challenges and maintain schedules
• Participate in training on construction methods, equipment use, and OSHA/safety requirements
• Support continuous improvement, cost control, and job-site housekeeping
