CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer for flatbed freight hauls
• Secure and tarp loads according to safety and DOT standards
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with all DOT regulations, hours-of-service, and company policies
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Use ELDs accurately to log hours and mileage
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
• Maintain clean, well-kept equipment and report maintenance needs
• Handle cargo carefully to prevent damage and loss
• Follow safety protocols at all times while on the road and at sites
