Outdoor Advertising Construction Technician

Join Lamar Advertising Company's Outdoor Construction Crew and help build the billboards and digital displays that power major advertising campaigns. In this field-based role, you'll install, assemble, and maintain outdoor structures, working at heights and outdoors in all seasons. You'll read site layouts, pour foundations, set poles, and install frames and catwalks using hand and power tools, lifts, and rigging equipment. With a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality, you'll support a decentralized, community-focused organization and contribute directly to high-visibility media projects with long-term career growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain outdoor advertising structures, including billboards and digital displays
• Operate hand and power tools, light equipment, and lifts to complete construction tasks safely
• Follow site plans, measurements, and layouts to set poles, frames, and structural components
• Work at heights using ladders, harnesses, and fall protection gear in compliance with safety standards
• Inspect and repair existing structures, hardware, and foundations as needed
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to quality standards
• Document work performed, report hazards, and maintain a clean and organized job site
