Restaurant Host

As a Host or Hostess at Marriott in Food & Beverage Operations, you create a warm, welcoming first impression while managing guest flow in a fast-paced dining environment. You'll greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, coordinate table assignments with servers and the kitchen, and provide friendly, informed assistance about menus and hotel offerings. Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat guests in the restaurant, ensuring welcoming first impressions
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments using seating and reservation systems
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen to optimize table turns and guest flow
• Provide menu, special, and hotel outlet information to guests and answer basic inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area in accordance with brand standards
• Assist with guest needs, special requests, and accessibility accommodations
• Handle guest concerns promptly, escalating issues to supervisors when needed
• Support smooth Food & Beverage Operations by communicating guest preferences and timing
• Follow Marriott and departmental policies on safety, hygiene, and service standards
• Collaborate with team members to uphold Marriott's people-first, service-oriented culture
