Structural Project Manager

Lemartec Corporation, a national design-build and construction management firm, seeks a Structural Project Manager to lead structural scope on complex industrial, commercial, aviation, and infrastructure projects. You will manage design coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and field execution from preconstruction through commissioning, ensuring structural integrity, quality, safety, and code compliance. Collaborating with internal design, construction, and client teams, you will drive value engineering, resolve technical issues, mentor engineers, and support a safety-first, high-performance project culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural scope for industrial, commercial, aviation, and infrastructure projects from preconstruction through commissioning.
• Manage project schedule, budget, and structural deliverables, ensuring alignment with client goals and contract requirements.
• Coordinate structural design with internal engineers, architects, subcontractors, and consultants in a design-build environment.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and code compliance.
• Oversee field implementation of structural work, resolving technical issues and supporting construction teams.
• Implement and champion safety-first practices and quality control procedures for all structural activities.
• Conduct value engineering and constructability reviews to optimize designs for cost, schedule, and performance.
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to clients, internal leadership, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and project staff, supporting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and client specifications across all structural elements.
