Job Description
RTI International seeks a part-time Survey Administrator to support research across health, education, environment, and social policy projects. In this role, you will recruit and screen participants, explain study purpose and consent procedures, and administer structured surveys by phone, online, or in person. You will accurately record responses, safeguard confidentiality, and follow IRB and study protocols. Working closely with research teams, you'll help maintain response rates, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure high-quality data that informs evidence-based programs and global policy decisions.
Responsibilities
- Administer surveys to participants following standardized protocols
- Recruit and screen eligible respondents for research studies
- Explain study purpose, procedures, and informed consent clearly
- Accurately record responses using electronic or paper instruments
- Ensure data quality, confidentiality, and compliance with IRB guidelines
- Schedule and track survey sessions and participant follow-up
- Identify and report field issues or data anomalies to project leads
- Meet productivity and response rate targets for assigned projects
- Collaborate with research teams and follow project timelines
- Maintain professional, ethical interactions with diverse populations
