Quick Facts Location: Atlanta, GA Start Date: 10/08/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Full-time Licenses/Certs: Georgia Medical License (or eligible), Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 24 months of eligibility) Experience: Previous inpatient psychiatric experience, strong interest in child/adolescent psychiatry Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) 24/7 dedicated team support Pay package discussed upon application What You ll Do Provide inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team Manage medication protocols and psychotherapeutic interventions Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical changes promptly Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, and other hospital staff to ensure quality care Document patient assessments and treatment outcomes accurately Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive care environment What You Need Valid Georgia medical license or eligibility to practice in Georgia Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry (within 24 months of eligibility) Experience managing a wide age range from pre-adolescent to geriatrics preferred Strong knowledge of various psychiatric diagnoses including mood, psychotic, and substance use disorders Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This inpatient psychiatry position involves providing expert mental health services to children and adolescents in a secure hospital setting.
