HVAC-R Construction Project Manager

CoolSys is seeking a Project Manager to lead HVAC-R construction projects from planning through closeout. In this role, you will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality mechanical and refrigeration systems for retail, commercial, and industrial clients. You will coordinate field teams, oversee safety and code compliance, and ensure accurate documentation. Working in a collaborative, safety-first culture, you'll leverage technical knowledge, construction experience, and strong communication skills to drive efficient, reliable, and energy-focused project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage HVAC-R construction projects from kickoff to closeout
• Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate contractors, technicians, and vendors on active job sites
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code compliance standards
• Communicate project status, risks, and changes to clients and internal stakeholders
• Review drawings, scopes, and change orders for accuracy and feasibility
• Manage procurement and delivery of equipment and materials
• Lead job-site meetings and resolve field issues promptly
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
• Support continuous improvement of construction and installation processes
