Data Center Engineering Technician

Maintain and operate mission-critical data center electrical and mechanical systems to support reliable infrastructure operations. Monitor facility management systems, perform equipment rounds and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair systems, support rack installations, document changes, manage work requests, and coordinate contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily building rounds and record the status of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Management Systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events and resolve issues within internal service-level agreements.
• Install and decommission equipment racks.
• Perform preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Document change-management activities, manage work requests, execute projects, and oversee contractors and vendors.
