Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician

Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric seeks an HVAC Maintenance Technician to service residential and light commercial customers. Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment issues on-site.
• Inspect systems for safety, efficiency, and code compliance; document findings and recommendations.
• Communicate clearly with customers about work performed, options, and maintenance tips.
• Use proper tools, meters, and gauges to test and verify system performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and protect customers' homes and property during work.
• Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage daily schedule and service tickets.
• Maintain accurate service records using mobile or electronic systems.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on new HVAC technologies and best practices.
• Support an on-call or rotating schedule for priority or emergency service as needed.
