CDL A Owner Operator Truck Driver

Forward Air seeks CDL A Owner Operator Drivers to support our nationwide expedited LTL and intermodal network. As an independent contractor, you'll haul freight for retail, e-commerce, and industrial customers on regional and long-haul routes. You'll ensure safe, on-time pickups and deliveries, follow DOT and company safety standards, and manage your equipment, fuel, and routing for maximum efficiency. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor-trailer as an owner operator on regional and long-haul routes for Forward Air
• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight safely and on time within North America network
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure proper load securement and documentation
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and hours-of-service regulations
• Maintain communication with dispatch and operations to coordinate schedules and resolve issues
• Manage fuel, routing, and equipment to optimize efficiency and earnings as an independent contractor
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at terminals and delivery locations
