Preventative Maintenance General Cleaner

Join Marriott as a Preventative Maintenance General Cleaner and help keep our hotel welcoming, safe, and spotless. In this role, you'll perform routine cleaning and light preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, following strict brand and safety standards. You'll use cleaning equipment, handle chemicals safely, restock supplies, and promptly report repair needs. Working closely with housekeeping and engineering teams, you'll support exceptional guest experiences while gaining exposure to hotel operations and opportunities for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces following Marriott standards
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness of floors, restrooms, lobbies, and service corridors
• Operate basic cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, and carpet cleaners
• Replenish supplies, linens, and amenities in assigned areas
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and repair needs to supervisors
• Follow safety, chemical handling, and infection-control procedures
• Complete cleaning checklists and document work as required
• Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering teams to support smooth hotel operations
