Maintenance Manager

The Atlas Hotel in Regina is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead facilities, maintenance, and asset management for our independent, guest-focused hotel and conference centre. You'll oversee daily repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety across guestrooms, waterpark, restaurants, and meeting spaces, ensuring everything runs smoothly and reliably. Working closely with a friendly, inclusive team, you'll coordinate contractors, manage budgets, support capital projects, and coach maintenance staff. This role suits a practical leader who enjoys troubleshooting building systems and creating a safe, comfortable environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations across guestrooms, waterpark, restaurants, and meeting spaces
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and purchasing
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and health regulations and hotel standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using maintenance software
• Support renovation and capital projects planning and execution
• Train, schedule, and coach maintenance team members
• Partner with hotel leadership to support excellent guest experiences and quick issue resolution
